Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen
Felicity and Lauren were deeply upset when they saw the images of people being injured and killed at prayer at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh,and asked if they could do anything to help.
This is how the “Love is Stronger” Benefit concert was born.
The show will take place on Sunday the 20th January at the Convention Centre Auditorium right in Cape Town city centre
There will be 3 charities The Tree of Life will receive 33% of proceeds
The Jewish Community Service will receive 30%
The third charity is still to be announced!
Tracy Klass the hilarious comedienne has agreed to be our MC,we are so excited to have her!
Ramaine Barreiro-LLoyd who is a phenomenal Director will be in charge of Stage Direction as our Stage Director
I believe she may also sing as well,she has an absolutely a wonderful voice and real stage presence.
The internationally acclaimed South Africa Youth Choir conducted by the energetic and brilliant Phil Robinson.They will add so much vitality to the ,I have heard them sing A Capella, WOW!!
Salome Johansen will be adding her brand of musical magic to the evening she has a real energy on stage coupled with her stunning vocals.
I was on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and saw a video clip from Chelsea Goliath doing a poem about her home town of Mitchell’s Plain,and was blown away by her passion and emotion.I asked her if she would like to be a guest artist and she said “Yes” for which we are so thankful
Felicity and Lauren will be the lead singers,you will know them from their parody as Woman2Woman parody of “Irreplaceable” which has now been seen by 30 million people.
Although proudly South African they have international pedigree Felicity has toured Spain,India and last year did a show with Lauren in the UK which got rave reviews.Her rendition of “Away in a manger” with Holme Community Choir had the whole audience in tears,such was the passion in the performance.

Lauren has twice been to the UK,first raising money for Storm Desmond in 2017 R100000 and even gave a car away.
Her new single is being launched next month,it is really catchy!
